Born and raised in Upstate New York, Evan Knight has been playing music since he was a child. From the moment he picked up the saxophone he was hooked, and soon began gigging around the northeastern US. He would later study, record, and/or perform with numerous contemporary jazz artists, including David Sanborn, Peter White, Chieli Minucci, and more.
Evan released his debut album "Reminiscence" in 2008, which received much praise from the smooth jazz community.
In 2013, Evan relocated to Dallas, where he has been deeply involved in the music scene; Performing with RC & The Gritz, Shaun Martin, Robert "Sput" Searight, and accompanying artists such as Erykah Badu, Common, Dwele, Raheem DeVaughn, Stokley Williams, among others.
He is currently working on his second solo album, release date TBA.
